The Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture, and Industries of Quito was founded in 1906, with the purpose of defending the citizens of Quito from abuses of power.

The first directory was chaired by Don Manuel Jijón Larrea.

Since our beginnings, we have won the recognition of the governments of the day: one of its main achievements was the approval of the Law for the fixing of tariffs for the transportation of products by rail.

In 1953 we had 710 members and over time we have grown incalculably.

Today, we are the largest union in the country and we provide our partners with quality services that contribute to the development of their businesses.
